That 1st kiss
so light and fresh
barely there, I almost missed it
never knew a boy's lips
could be so soft, so gentle

The 2nd kiss
awoke something in me,
snapped me out of
playful reverie
brought reality clearly into focus
paying more attention to the

made me melt
my knees literally buckled
