The trauma began
long ago
on this
date of my birth
A day, then unrecognizable
insignificant and unrealized
a new life tore through
exposed to immediate pain
trauma
life shattering circumstance
belief altering experience
The first war
an exchange regarding
threat of life
a dying mother with
a 9lb 11oz baby girl in her womb
twisted the wrong way
dying and
killing her in the process
